Welcome to the storytelling page! You will be evaluating and analyzing stories today.
First: Read the rubric below to familiarize yourself with the criteria you will use to evaluate and analyze each story. Notice you will be grading the stories on ideas, voice, and word choice. You will want to pay close attention to these components when you are listening.

Second: On a piece of notebook paper, draw a chart you can use to easily grade each story. For example, you could draw the chart below but instead of the storytelling rubric parts, you could leave ideas, voice, and word choice, put the name of the story where the percent is, and give your score in the boxes beside it. Remember to leave enough room to give evidence for each of your scores.
Third: Listen to the following, in whatever order you choose, and grade each according to the rubric above. You may use the numbers 1-4 as your grading guide (look inside the boxes above). Each grade you give must have a complete sentence explaining your reasoning and evidence from the story to support your choice. You will be asked to redo your work if it is not done correctly.
